Large and In Charge

We'll I'm almost to the end of this pregnancy, hopefully, and I wanted to post a picture of me at 39 1/2 weeks. The nursery is set, the clothes and bedding washed, everything possibly needed is bought, the only thing missing is the cute baby boy! I never thought that I would actually get to my due date and possibly go beyond. I have enjoyed most moments of this adventure: feeling the baby move, watching my stomach get larger everyday, eating lots of yummy food, seeing him on the ultrasound, finding out it's a boy and he looks healthy, and buying all of the cute baby things for the nursery. Now if only he would come out and join the rest of us, this journey would be complete. Please pray that everything goes well and that he's a healthy and happy baby. Oh, and also that my family would be able to get here in time to see him right after his birth. Thanks everyone! I'll keep you updated!

Hello in there!

We had an ultrasound yesterday to check the size of the baby. They estimate he's about 6lbs 2oz (give or take a pound, she said). Everything looks perfect. It is definately a boy (thank goodness) and he was kicking the wand and moving everywhere the whole time. I have 14 days until my due date, so hopefully we'll be seeing this baby in real life soon. I will definately post when he's born. It's amazing to think that this pregnancy is almost over and that our lives are about to change forever! Everyone says to sleep now while we can, so that's what I intend to do. Hope you enjoy the picture!
