Evie's first haircut
I decided this morning that Evie's mullet just had to go, so I got out the scissors and asked JD to help me hold her still. That was a difficult task for sure, but we got it done. Boys hair is SO much easier to cut, but at least it's not a mullet anymore. It's even pretty straight. :)

I think she likes it. I know I do!

Yarn
Some may say it's an addiction. Some may say it's a passion. Some may even say it's just a hobby. Call it what you will.

Yes, I heart yarn. Just wait until I start posting some of the things I've recently made. So fun!

Out of the mouths of babes
Luke and I had this exact conversation the other day. I thought I would share it with you because it cracked JD and I up.
Luke- "What's that, Mommy?" pointing to my sock.
Me- "It's a hole. Mommy's socks all have holes in them for some reason."
Luke- Studies both of my socks for a minute and then gets a huge smile on his face. He points to the other sock on my other foot and says, "This sock doesn't have a hole, Mommy." He was so proud of himself.
I couldn't help but smile and laugh. Of course ALL of my socks don't have holes. It seems like one sock in every pair does at the moment though. I guess I shouldn't be so dramatic.

"Me make snowman, Mommy."
JD and Luke went out to build a snowman last week. Luke was SO excited! It was freezing outside so Evie and I decided to stay in. I mention this because it was so cold that the snow would barely pack down to make a snowman. It was that cold! JD let Luke pick out where all of the accessories should go. I think Luke did a pretty good job. Now every time we go anywhere he points to his snowman from the car and says to me, "Mommy, look at me snowman, Mommy." He's so proud of him!
(Sorry the image is so dark. My new to me computer doesn't have photoshop...yet.)
