Sledding and a Dare Devil

Our Hill O' Fun.

Yes, this is our sweet little girl going down the hill by herself. She squeals with delight and kicks her feet. When asked if she wants to go again she says, "gen". I think she likes it!

Her friend on the other hand was a little unsure. He had a "I don't think I like this" cry at the beginning of every run. Well, except for the time he went alone. Perhaps he didn't want Evie showing him up??? :)

Luke of course loved it. He wanted to keep going down the hill all night long. Good thing he can walk up the hill himself. (shew)

Yum!

It was a great night with our friends! I'm so thankful that God has put them in our lives.

Happy Birthday, Lukey Moo!

Yesterday was such a fun day. Luke has been talking about his birthday and turning 3 for weeks now. He was excited to say the least! We walked into his room in the morning and sang Happy Birthday to him. He beamed with pride! He jumped out of his bed and ran to the living room to discover balloons on the walls. He loved them!

The day was centered around him and he enjoyed every minute.

He loved going to daddy's work to eat lunch and dinner was of course a Happy Meal from McDonald's. We were so healthy! :)

He LOVED his balloons from GG and Grandpa.

He LOVED all of his presents. Evelyn tried to open them too. She couldn't figure out why they weren't for her.

But (as he told us when the day closed) his favorite thing about his birthday was his cake.

He loved blowing out the candles.

And he must be the only child in the world who only wanted 2 bites of his cake. No wonder why he's so skinny!

He's so proud to be 3!

My baby Luke isn't a baby anymore. It's hard to be sad though when he's so happy and proud to be a big boy!
