(Remember this? He was so tiny!)
Luke was so excited and proud to turn four! He's been talking about his birthday for weeks now. He just couldn't wait! I on the other hand always think it's fun to have a birthday, but when the day comes I get sad that my baby is getting older.
We got a lot of snow last night and this morning, so we spent the day inside. That was fine with me. We had a special breakfast, snuggled on the couch and watched Dora (his new favorite), and made his birthday cake. When daddy came home for lunch Luke got to open his presents. He was beyond excited! He opened his first one (a pillow pet from Nanny and Pop Pop) and you could see the joy on his face.

Evelyn then decided it was her turn to open a present, but we had to tell her they were all for Luke. She was devastated to say the least.

JD held her while the rest of us carried on with happiness. Luke loved all of his presents and was so excited for each of them. I love giving to a child that is so thankful and appreciative! It's so fun.
The rest of the day was filled with playing with new toys, making his Hero birthday cake

and eating McDonald's for dinner (his choice). It was a great day! Thank you to everyone who wished our little guy a Happy Birthday. He had a great one.
