Just for fun

I made this collage just for fun yesterday and wanted to share it with all of you. The little guy is 7 weeks old today. My baby is growing up so fast! We weighed him this morning and he weighed 10 lbs 4 oz! Little chunker! He's got the cutest chubby cheeks. You can't help but pinch them!
We went out today to shop. I loved listening to all the people say, "Awe, look at that little baby." I held my head high and smiled pushing the stroller along. I love being a mom! Even at 2 in the morning when he looks into my eyes then smiles... it melts my heart. Babies are the best!

Sassy Boy

Do you think he takes after me or his dad? I caught this face as I was practicing taking pictures. It made us laugh so I thought I'd share it with all of you. Can you believe he's 6 weeks old today? Wow, time really does fly!!




He has such tiny hands. When they aren't being used to pull my hair or paw at my face I just love them!




We're coming in from outside where we "played" in the snow. He's hungry. Can you tell?

Beaker

We took some pictures yesterday and I thought this one was so cute that I had to post it. I wish I could include sound because Luke makes the cutest little Beaker noises. You'll just have to use your imagination!
Now, I'm sure you're thinking- Thank goodness there isn't sound!! This is Luke after too many pictures! He'd had enough!

The best kind of day

Don't you wish that you could take a day out of life and just relax, sit in a swing and sleep? Babies really do have the best life- cry when you're hungry and people run to satisfy you, sleep when you're tired even if it's most of the day, have people carry you wherever they go, and have the best toys to play with at any time of the day. Close your eyes and just imagine this. What a life!

Sorry to those who don't want to see tons of pictures of this beautiful baby, but you do have a choice not to look at this website. For the family members and friends who love to see lots of pictures- these are for you!

One month old

I can't believe my son is one month old today. It seems like just yesterday I was all belly and waiting anxiously for him to come. Now he's here and growing up too fast.

In this month we've:

• Fallen in love with this little guy
• Given him thousands of kisses
• Sang numerous made-up songs
  
• Survived on little to no sleep
• Learned how to securely fasten a newborn diaper
• Bathed a wiggling, slippery baby
• Realized that we've been given a precious gift
