Have you ever sat and thought about when was the last time you laughed? I mean belly shaking, can't breath laughing? It seems like the older I get the less I laugh like that. I have the pleasure of watching Luke laugh like that at least twice a day. It always makes me smile and thank God for him. Oh to be young again and to laugh at being tickled or being chased around the house. To love the simple things in life again like watching someone make silly faces and to actually think it's funny. I want to get back to those times.
My dad used to pull his glasses down on his nose and magically turn into Mr. Funny. It didn't matter what he did when he was Mr. Funny. It was always hilarious! He would act like him for a few minutes and then push his glasses back up and was magically himself again. I remember begging for him to become that "other" man. I loved laughing!
Anyway, JD shared this video with me the other day, and I thought it was funny. Maybe it just hit me at the right time. I don't know. I wanted to share it with you though in case you're like me and just need to laugh today.

Happy New Year!
We celebrated New Years Eve by going to bed at 10. Evelyn woke us up around 12:30 so we said "Happy New Year" then. That's sad, huh? One day we will go out like most people and actually celebrate the new year.
Do any of you do New Year Resolutions? In the past I've done them from time to time. It never lasts for me though. By the time March rolls around I can't even remember what I've resolved to do. That's sad, but very true. I'm sure I'm not alone in that though. This year I just want to spend lots of time with my family and enjoy the short time I have with my children while they're young. Time just goes too fast!
