Sooo...

I kinda took the summer off without telling anyone here. It was too full of family time, Eliza's eye surgery and doctor appointments, parents and in laws and uncles and aunts coming to visit and vegetable gardening. Oh and I shouldn't forget the summer long heat wave that we had as well. It's hard to sit around and type when the house is 86*!

I think I'm back now though. We've started homeschooling Luke and JD starts back to work later this week. I'd really like to blog about our upcoming schooling adventures. I think there will be lots to talk about! For now though as I sit beside the campfire and enjoy our last camping trip before the craziness begins I wanted to leave you with this picture.
