We've been down for the count for 9 days now and I must say that it's getting old. We're all tired of staying home and not doing anything. There's only so many hours you can be with each other before you all start going a little batty.
Funny story though. Last night we were talking about what to have for dinner. We are now on a budget for eating out and had already spent that weekly allowance. We asked Evelyn what she wanted to eat and she told us she wanted to go out to eat. We told her that unfortunately we didn't have any more money for that this week. She then disappears for a few minutes. We hear her piggy bank rattling. She then reappears with her $1 and some change and says, "Now we can go to Steak Eatery". (That's the local steakhouse.) It was so cute! She was totally willing to take us all out on her dime. If it hadn't been so late and we weren't all still not feeling well we would have totally blown our budget and taken her out. Love my sweet, giving girl!
